President JIMMY CARTER Portrait for the White House.

In 1977 the US Government ( actually, the White House ) commissioned Warhol to do a portrait of Jimmy Carter. Here's a really great official government photo of them together & a seperate photo of the actual art.....way cool!

Do you know if copies of Andy Warhol's portrait of Jimmy Carter are available anywhere? Did it appear on the cover of The New York Times Magazine cover in 1977? Of The New Republic? Or somewhere else? I'm curious about Warhol's commission on Carter. I can be reached at englishj@uga.edu.
